Biography

Percussionist, born in 1990 in Saint-Louis, Claire Litzler started playing the piano at the Saint-Louis Conservatory at the age of 5 years then quickly became interested in the percussion family. At the age of 17 years, she joined the Strasbourg conservatory in classical percussion and obtained a diploma in musical studies there, the higher national diploma of professional musician, the state diploma of percussion teacher and the license of musicology.

She then left to continue her studies at the University of the Arts in Bern., where she obtained her Masters in musical interpretation and pedagogy in June 2017. in parallel, she taught percussion for several years at the Conservatoire de Saint-Louis before being appointed to 2016 percussion teacher at the Musik-Akademie Basel. That same year, she creates her private drums school & percussions in Alsace.

She regularly plays in large professional orchestras (the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the Mannheim Symphony Orchestra) and won many national and international awards (in Belgium, in Italy and the Hit like a girl in the USA).

In 2012 et en 2015, she is invited to play a concerto for vibraphone as a soloist with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra.

She regularly gives recitals and "master classes" all over the world. : Taiwan, Portugal, USA, Hollande, England, Suisse, Germany…

Besides his passion for pedagogy and classical percussion, Claire sings along with her vibraphone. In 2019, she participates in the show "The Voice : the most beautiful voice "on TF1 and is retained in Julien Clerc's team. In 2020, she released her first vibraphone / voice album : "From Shadow to Light" and featured on "The Voice of Germany" where she finished her quarterfinal run for Mark Forster's team.
