What format should I download?

The default download format is MP3, and that's probably what you'll want to use. These files play fine with iTunes, Windows Media Player, your iPhone / Android phone, etc. They understand the album cover (quality image), the names of the musicians and the exact titles of the tracks and, when possible, song lyrics. Our MP3 files use variable bit rate encoding (VBR) which reduces file size while maintaining the highest quality. So you can download them faster and keep more trendy songs on your iPhone.

You can also download FLAC format files, ALAC (Apple Lossless), AAC, Ogg Vorbis, WAV or AIFF. These options are intended, as we say in the interface, "Audiophiles and techno addicts". If you aspire to one of these statuses, it's not a bad in law where to start.
